Klopp: Brighton deserved to win the game



 Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said he bears responsibility for his team's heavy loss to Brighton.


 


Liverpool lost 3-0 away from home in the 18th round match of the English Premier League, so the team's suffering continues this season. In his statement after the match, Klopp added: "I congratulate Brighton, they played well and deserved to win the match." He continues: “In the first half, there is good form. But the second half started in the worst possible way.


 


Klopp talked about the reasons for Brighton's defeat by Brentford in the final, and said: “The problem (today) is the same as the final problem; the team does not win the struggle on the field. Of course, I had a different idea and structure for the game, but it didn't work out." He continues: "Last week I haven't been able to win fighters, but the info I want to prepare players for these situations. And a good choice for the sport." The German coach went to greet the Liverpool fans after the match and apologized to them for the team's failure.


 


Liverpool fell to ninth place with 28 points, 16 points behind leaders Arsenal.
