Conte: The title struggle is limited to Arsenal and City

Tottenham coach Antonio Conte believes that the two teams closest to winning the championship this year are Arsenal and Manchester City.

Tottenham beat Arsenal in the North London derby, 2-0, in Round 20 of the English Premier League. Speaking at the press conference, Conte said: "I'm not disappointed about the Arsenal game, we know it's going to be tough because Arsenal are a strong team and they showed they deserve to be top of the league.

He added, "Arsenal and Manchester City are the only two teams that can compete for the Premier League this year." And about Tottenham striker Aaron Ramsdale, he explained: "I did not see what happened. I was asked after the match and I said if it happened, it is not good at all."

He continued, "Football is built on respect and play between rivals, so if this situation occurs, it is not necessarily good." He continued, "Hugo Lloris's sin? It is not good to focus on one or two situations. I consider Hugo one of the best goalkeepers in the world and it can happen." But he added, "Now we have to move on. We have a tough game against Manchester City, who I think are title contenders. We have to keep working and that - getting the players back." Talking about Heung Son-min's performance, he said, "Last season, he scored 25 goals. This season, he didn't do much. For us, that's not good news because we depend on his goals." Tottenham ranks sixth with 33 points in the English Premier League table.
